Remembrance Sunday was excellenty supported by local people across our community again this year.
Unfortunately, Louie could only attend one of the services today, which was the Sidcup service at St John's Church and Sidcup War Memorial.
Louie said, "Today we remembered all of those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and tomorrow".
"It was fantastic to see hundreds of local people support church services across Bexley and to pay their respect to our veterans. I was deeply honoured to be invited by the Sidcup and Foots Cray Royal British Legion to join the parade from the United Services Club and to lay a wreath at the Sidcup War Memorial".
"The Royal British Legion do a brilliant job throughout the year and I would like to thank them and all of our community leaders across Old Bexley & Sidcup for their efforts. I would also like to thank everyone across our community for showing incredible community and national spirit today, as we remember. Lest we forget".
