Making Bexley safer for everyone

Despite Sadiq Khan's many failures, Old Bexley and Sidcup remains one of the safest areas. But we do have our challenges locally, especially with anti-social behaviour and vehicle crime.

I regularly meet with our local Police teams and join on the beat walks helping with crime prevention, including to crack down on vehicle theft which I know has been a matter of local concern recently.

If re-elected, I will continue to work hard to secure our fair share of London’s police resources, stop Labour closing more police stations and work with the police to tackle anti-social behaviour and vehicle theft. In particular, I will campaign to scrap the tri-borough policy that Sadiq Khan introduced in 2018, which saw Bexley’s resources merged with the higher crime areas of Greenwich and Lewisham, so we can return to community policing and make sure all local residents feel safer.
