Louie French, Member of Parliament for Old Bexley and Sidcup, had the pleasure today of opening the new Post Office in Sidcup High Street.
Since his election, Louie has been in regular contact with the Post Office to underline the importance of Post Office services for local residents and the High Street to ensure securing a new branch was a priority.
The new Post Office branch, located at 5 Invicta Parade, Sidcup High Street, DA14 6ER, is already proving popular with local customers and provides a further boost to Sidcup High Street.
Commenting, Louie said:
“After many months of campaigning alongside local Councillors and businesses, the restoration of Post Office services to the High Street is very welcome news.”
“I recognise the importance of Post Office services to the community of Sidcup and have been working with the Post Office to ensure my constituents’ voice is heard and to seek assurance that the opening of a Post Office on the High Street is a priority."
I wish the new Postmaster, Sangeetha, the best of luck with the new branch and for the future."
