Louie has continued to lead the fight against Southeastern timetable changes, including in his latest meeting with rail bosses last week where he called again for urgent concessions and reversals to many of the changes being made, alongside an urgent review of the latest passenger numbers at Albany Park. Following Louie's requests, Southeastern have committed to look at the passenger numbers for this station again and Louie has asked to receive this data.
Following this latest meeting, Louie has also written a follow-up letter to the Rail Minister to emphasise again his continued frustrations and outstanding queries, including questions surrounding the reasons provided for the timetable changes, the lack of a consultation, the significant reduction in Albany Park services, the loss of off-peak Charing Cross services on the Bexleyheath line and the loss of the loop line and Abbey Wood connections on the Sidcup line, alongside the data used to inform these decisions.
Southeastern have made a commitment to review the timetable changes, particularly ahead of their next timetable change in May 2023 and have requested to receive the results of Louie's survey in order to assist their reviews. That is why Louie is encouraging all local train users to complete the short survey so that he can represent all local concerns and views: www.louiefrench.org.uk/campaigns/fighting-against-southeastern-timetabl…;
