On 6 May 2023, the United Kingdom and Commonwealth will celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles lll and I am providing school children in Old Bexley and Sidcup the opportunity to design the card that I will be sending to His Majesty The King to offer congratulations on behalf of the people of Old Bexley and Sidcup.
Old Bexley and Sidcup was recently voted the most patriotic constituency and I want to showcase this by sending very best wishes to His Majesty The King at Buckingham Palace from local residents.
Apart from all things royal, there is no required theme for the design but if you are looking for inspiration it could feature Old Bexley and Sidcup landmarks or the King and I’s shared passion for animals and nature.
The winner’s design will be the front of the card with the first name, age and school printed on the back. There will be a prize for the winner and runners-up, with all children entering receiving a special Coronation thank you certificate.

There are 2 different templates in the files below for children to draw their designs on but entries do not have to be submitted on this.
Please include the child’s name, age and address or school.
